This week we celebrate our graduates! 

Graduation is more than a milestone. It is a new beginning of living your calling in love, guided by faith. As we watch our graduates move into new adventures in life, we are all invited to pray for them as they discover who they are and who God is calling them to become. 

Just like the new graduates, each of us has unique passions and gifts given to us by God. 1 Peter 4:10  says "Like good stewards of the manifold grace of God, serve one another with whatever gift each of you has received." This is a good reminder to all of us that our purpose here on earth is not just personal, it is also for the good and service of all. Follow your heart and trust the desires and guidance that God has placed on your heart. This journey is not always easy and clear, but it is amazing and deeply fulfilling when we choose to listen and follow God’s guidance. And it is never too late for any of us to listen and follow. 

 

God's Promise Is to Bless - Graduation Poem

May God bless you as you move ahead

With the plan He had in mind

Before you were ever born

Uniquely for you designed.

 

May you feel His presence with you

As He guides you on your way

For He’s promised to never leave you

When storm clouds fill your day.

 

Though the road may not be easy

As you push to climb uphill

Remember God will give you strength

When you’re in His perfect will.

 

For as you place your faith in God,

Know He will never fail,

For you will soar on eagles wings

Lifted higher by the gale.

 

God said, “The plans I have for you

Are to prosper and to bless;”

A hope beyond what you can dream

For you His words express.

 

So move ahead with confidence

Holding firmly to God’s hand

Knowing He will be with you

To fulfill what He has planned.
